Key Responsibilities That Define Your Impact
As an integral member of our team, you’ll collaborate closely with the Creative Services Director, reporting directly to the General Manager. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving the production and budgeting for signature shows like SA Live, Texas Eats, Fiesta parade broadcasts, Rodeo specials, Day of the Dead extravaganzas, and the KSAT Pigskin Classic. The success stories of SA Live and Texas Eats will be your canvas for growth, as you shape their trajectory through innovation and creativity.
Moreover, your partnership with the Events Coordinator will help craft seamless plans for our thrilling Insider parties and live broadcasts, creating an immersive viewer experience. In tandem with our sales and research departments, you’ll meticulously ensure that our programming logs are consistently accurate and updated. Your proficiency will extend to publishing daily program grids, scheduling “Make-Goods” for preempted ABC programs, accommodating programming changes for ABC and MeTV, as well as local specials.

- Oversee the scheduling of FCC Children programs, maintaining compliance with regulations.

- Collaborate with the Master Control HUB on OTO Program Record Orders for local specials, assigning house names.
- Facilitate smooth collaboration with the Traffic Hub and Master Control, updating formats and feed schedules of Syndicated programs.
- Disseminate programming alerts to TV listing services, other media outlets, and our dedicated staff.
- Play a pivotal role in filing our FCC quarterly reports online.
